The latest celeb to take on the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge? Justin Timberlake!

According to Idolator, Justin and the Tennessee Kids were nominated by Boston Marathon bombing survivors. In a video posted to the singer's YouTube page, he explains that he has accepted their challenge.

For those not familiar with the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, Justin is referring to a means of spreading awareness for Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), which is also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. According to Billboard, the rules of the challenge state that a participant must dump a bucket of ice on his head within 24 hours of being nominated or donate at least $100 to the ALS Foundation.

In the video, Justin rallied his friends before the entire group dumped buckets of ice water on their heads. Brrrr! The 'Not a Bad Thing' singer passed on the challenge to his good friend Jimmy Fallon, as well as Steve Higgins and the Roots over at 'The Tonight Show.'
