It's hard to believe that the school year in Missoula started this week - and it's more confusing than ever. Kids are on different schedules, showing up to the building at different times and different days, or else doing all of their classes online. It can be pretty overwhelming, especially for the teachers who are being asked to keep all these schedules straight and prepare lessons for every situation.

So, if you're a teacher and you need to catch a break, this is definitely something to check out - The Montana Scene will be holding an event inside the Missoula Mercantile next week where teachers can stop by and stock up on free school supplies.

Hello Missoula Teachers! Come stop by and stock up on any last minute school supplies that you may need. The Mercantile has generously donated their event space so that we can have a successful event while social distancing. Teacher Id and masks will be required. Stop by, grab a free tote, stock up on school supplies and shop our store after. We will have a store wide discount and other goodies!

This'll be happening Tuesday, September 1st from 6 PM to 8 PM. In a year where everyone is struggling to return to some form of normalcy, this is a great way to make sure our students have what they need to succeed.
