The University of Montana Spring Rodeo is coming up on Friday and Saturday, April 27 and 28 with some cool opening ceremonies.

On Friday evening, University of Montana President Seth Bodnar and his family, along with Griz head football coach Bobby hauck and his family will be introduced, brought into the arena with a team of horses and wagon provided by Paws Up. That is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Friday, right before the events get under way. And Monte the Griz mascot will be on hand with his t-shirt cannon, sending UM rodeo team t-shirts into the crowd.

Your UM rodeo team promises to put on a great show. Definitely a Griz to watch is Tyler Turco, a saddle bronc rider, still seated first in the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association.

Performances start at 7:00 both evenings at the Western Montana Fairgrounds. General admission prices are $10 for adults, $5 for students and kids 7 and under get in free. So round up the whole family and "Get Buzzed About UM Rodeo!"  If you need to know more, you can call 406-728-5188.
