The Hamilton and Stevensville mayors retained their positions in yesterday's municipal elections.

In Hamilton Jerry Steele defeated challenger Kathleen Driscoll 536 to 509.

In Stevensville, Gene MimMack defeated Clayton Floyd Jr 274 to 252. Write-in candidate Sarah Armijo had 19 votes.

Ward Two - Rod Pogachar (174) defeated Travis Martinez (129)

Ward Three - Kenneth Bell won (161) over Lynette Helgeland (94) and Stacy Lewis (70)

Stevensville -
Ward One - Robin Holcomb won (159) over Paul Ludington (93)

Ward Two - James Crews (163) defeated Paul Courteau (113)

Mayor - Unopposed - Brian Bridges (115)

Ward 1 - unopposed - Will Blocker (50)

Ward 2 - Scott Ralston (46) defeated Mark Wohl (19)

Ward 3 - Ned Trowbridge (38) defeated John Edwards (19)

Florence-Carlton voters decided to dissolve their water-sewer district 180 - 33

Voter turnout in the mail-in elections:
Hamilton 42 percent
Stevensville 55 percent
Darby 35 percent
Florence 55 percent
