A fundraiser for the Daly Mansion will involve dunking Hamilton Mayor Dominic Farrenkopf Saturday. The dunk tank will be set up next to the Farmers Market on South 2nd Street, but the chances to dunk the Mayor will also be available online. The Daly Mansion's Facebook page has more information on how to tune in and watch and "virtually" toss a ball at the target. The usual fee is $5 for three throws or $2 for one toss, but you can guarantee a dunk for $25 with a Button Blitz. The Daly Mansion is using Pay Pal for the online donations. Of course, you can also visit the tank personally from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday, August 1st. Dominic also said that he's making a football available, along with the usual baseballs. KLYQ Radio will be helping host the event. You can watch and "throw" Saturday, August 1, at the Daly Trust Facebook page. It's at https://www.facebook.com/daly.trust/

The Daly Mansion has been experiencing a much lower level of tours this year because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The 26 acres are open to the public Tuesdays through Saturdays. The tours inside the mansion are only available three times a day and you need to make reservations in advance, with pre-payment. Call (406) 363-6004 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or leave a message. Masks are required to enter the building. There's more information at their website.
