For the 52nd year, the Hamilton Eagles Lodge will host a public Easter Egg hunt on Sunday, April 1st, at the Ravalli County Fairgrounds. One of the larger gatherings of egg hunters, the event starts promptly at 1 p.m. ... and usually is completed minutes later. The free community event is open to children with ages up to 12 years old.

Organizers say that 6,000 eggs will be hidden in four different areas of the fairgrounds. The kids are then split between age groups - 0-3 years old, 4 to 6, 7 to 9, and 10-12. And this year, free bicycles are in the mix.

The plastic eggs have coupons for various prizes, including two bicycles per age group. A large number of local businesses have helped the Eagles this year. They are: McDonalds, Flower Happy, Grooming by Denise, UPS Store, Rainbow Bar, Exit Realty, Stewart Title, Naps Grill, Davison Sinclair, Eagle Pump Service and the Edge.
