At approximately 3 pm on Monday, a lone female entered the Good Food Store; 1600 S. 3rd St.,
selected items and left the store without payment being made.  Loss Prevention personnel confronted the female outside the store and asked her to come back, when an unknown male
approached with an aggressive posture and demanded the employees “let her go”.  The couple left the store on foot, heading southwest through the parking lot after employees backed off to avoid a
physical confrontation.  The female is believed to be a suspect in a previous theft from the same store.

The female suspect is described as “white” with “unwashed”dirty blonde hair that may have been bleached at one time.  She is missing a front tooth, and was last seen to be wearing a blue jacket with a fur-lined hood. The male is described as darker complected, 6’0 tall and about 250lbs with a “heavy belly”.  He is said to have a mustache and was last seen wearing green flannel jacket. Anyone with information as to the identity or location of these two suspects is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 721-4444, or the Missoula Police Department at 552-6300. My interview with Detective Sergeant Travis Welsh is attached below.
