Veterans Day is coming up on Wednesday, November 11th and business around the country will be offering small tokens of appreciation to America's veterans and military personnel. Here in Missoula, that includes Metro Express Car Wash at 3550 Brooks Street. Free car washes will be offered from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. with the 'Grace For Vets' program. The free washes are given to honor and recognize those that have and are serving in the armed forces.

Grace For Vets was founded in 2004 by Mike Mountz, of Ephrata, Pennsylvania. He served and spent time with amputees and the seriously wounded at the Veterans Hospital in Valley Forge, so when he opened his own car wash, he started the program. Now, with the help of several thousand car washes in 4 countries who participate, more and more military servicemen and women are recognized each year through this nationwide program. “This day is not about the car wash operators who are providing the free washes, it’s about honoring and recognizing those that have and are serving and protecting our country," says Operating Partner Andrew Martin. It’s an exciting and emotional day for everyone. Our management team and employees look forward to giving back to those that have given so much.”
