Fat Tuesday is coming soon. So, if you're Catholic, you only got a couple more days to do some sinning. That's right, you got 40 days of attempting to be a saint ahead of you. So you might as well drink a bunch of booze and flash your naughty bits at strangers. But, when you think of Fat Tuesday celebrations, you don't think of Montana. When most people picture Fat Tuesday, they picture Louisiana and Mardi Gras in New Orleans.

So where does Montana fall on the list of sinners?

Wallethub.com crunched the numbers on which states do the most sinning. They did so by finding out which states participated the most in the 7 deadly sins. For example, Greed would be for states that have tons of casinos and low charity giving. Or lust would be states with the most adult book stores.

According to the Wallethub.com study

Some states are more well-behaved than others. In order to determine the states that most give in to their desires, WalletHub compared the 50 states across 47 key indicators of immoral or illicit behavior. Our data set ranges from violent crimes per capita to excessive drinking to the share of the population with gambling disorders.

So what state has the most sinning? You guessed it, NEVADA.

But, what state is the most well behaved? The Cowboy state of Wyoming.

So where does Montana fall on the list? Well, we are not complete sinners. Coming in at number 38 in the nation.

We do capture the #1 spot in one category. We rank at the top for Vices and Excessive Drinking. We rank lowest in the country for Vanity, due to the low numbers of hair salons per capita.
