Unless you can make fish walk on water, you probably would like to fine-tune your angling skills just ahead of spring.

Whether you want to learn more about tactics or just compare notes with some top-notch Montana lake fishing pros, including one who holds the Montana state record walleye title, there are two seminars in Missoula tomorrow (Saturday, February 12) you won't want to miss. And they are free to attend.

In conjunction with Bretz RV and Marine's Annual Indoor Boat Show and Sale, Kit and Trevor Johnson from the Helena-area's Kit's Tackle will be conducting their free fishing seminar at 12:00 noon. Trevor Johnson is the current Montana state record walleye holder. The Johnsons are famous for "Jigging the Dream" on Holter Reservoir and Canyon Ferry.

You will get your fill of tips and stories that will help you understand how they have become one of the most popular father-son fishing pairs in Montana. It is always a popular seminar with this dynamic fishing duo from Helena. They have also created their own line of amazing Jigging the Dream Lures that will be on display at the seminar.

And if you want to improve your lake trout fishing skills, the Kit's Tackle seminar will be followed by Scott Bombard of Missoula, giving his expert tips and tricks on how to fish lake trout on Flathead Lake. Scott is a regular competitor and historically high finisher in the Spring and Fall Mac Days tournaments on Flathead.

Taking it a step or two further, Scott will also touch on whitefish, smallmouth bass and perch fishing.

Scott's seminar at Bretz RV and Marine is at 2:00 p.m. A couple of fun, informative back-to-back seminars to get you even more fired up to fish!

Bretz RV and Marine's Missoula location is 4800 Grant Creek Road, just a block east of North Reserve near the I-90 exit.
