I'm trying to remember some fuzzy details about going to the circus as a kid. It's one of those memories where I'm almost not even sure it really happened.....but I feel like we went to the circus once when I was younger. I couldn't tell you any of the details - but I can kind of put together a couple images in my mind of being under the big top. And I want to say the elephants stick out for some reason. Of course, times have changed and a circus in 2021 looks much different than a circus of even 10 years ago.

The focus of a modern day circus has shifted from animals to performers. And that will be the case when the Tarzan Zerbini Circus performs for 4 nights beginning this Thursday (8/5.) The website for the circus says there'll be high wire acts, acrobats, aerialists, clowns, and more - but no animals. Entertainment will include acts that have performed in Las Vegas, previous performers from Ringling Brothers and Cirque du Soleil, and two entertainers that were featured on America's Got Talent.

The sand is running out of the hourglass when it comes to kids having to head back to school. Spoiler alert - it's this month! This might be something fun to do with the family before kids have to report for duty.
