Missoula's CASA, Court Appointed Special Advocates, holds this huge gala every year as their biggest fundraiser of the year, everyone gets dressed up and we enjoy wonderful food, drink, company, and information. It's still happening this year, and the bonus is, we don't have to get dressed up! But displaced children still need your help so here's how you can participate.

This year's "Light of Hope" will happen online here, on Thursday, February 4th from 6 to 7 p.m. Missoula's favorite newscaster, KPAX's Jill Valley, will host a piece celebrating local CASA's life-changing work. You'll also hear some very moving CASA success stories and meet this year's CASA of the Year. Learn from Judge Vannatta (who I recently met and is wonderful) about how CASA volunteers impact the court, and discover our specific Missoula impact, 2020 struggles, and goals for 2021 from CASA's Executive Director, Scott Appel.

The event is only an hour and free to watch, so plan to join us. You can help fund CASA by making a donation here (no contribution is too small and thank you in advance!) You can become a sponsor of the event, or you can participate in our live and silent auctions. There will be some great gifts for the upcoming February 14th holiday, like chocolates, flowers, weekend getaways, great local food, and staycations.

In 2020 alone, CASA of Missoula's 160 volunteers served 291 abused and neglected children, that's 291 lives changed forever! If you can't participate in the event, but are interested in learning more about what we do, or in becoming a volunteer, please visit the CASA website.
