Before you ask, yes, I did have to look up whether the cider equivalent of a brewery was called a "cidery." Turns out, it is!

Western Cider in Missoula is getting ready to host another Drink & Draw event. You may remember they held one a few weeks back, where they teamed up with the Missoula Paddleheads to have mascot Paxton on site to do a variety of different poses for people to draw.

Now they're teaming up with The Roxy Theater for another Drink & Draw event, this time centered on Trash Talk, the recurring feature at The Roxy where they specialize in showing movies that are weird, scary, obscure, oddball, and crazy. As someone who heads to The Roxy pretty regularly, Trash Talk is one of my favorite things that they do there, and I've been able to see movies like Re-AnimatorHalloween III: Season of the WitchTammy and the T-Rex, Hard Ticket To Hawaii, and Demons thanks to it. Trash Talk is actually set to make its return to The Roxy in July, with a screening of Castle Freak.

The Drink & Draw event will take place at Western Cider on Wednesday, July 14th from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, and is free for anyone to attend. Staff from The Roxy will be there to live model in different poses, and they'll have different displays from films that you can draw instead if that's your thing. The Zootown Arts Community Center is providing drawing materials, and part of the proceeds from cider sales during the event will go to them.
