Sooner or later, they all come to TV. Or Netflix, at least, as Drew Barrymore takes her first TV series regular role alongside Justified alum Timothy Olyphant for new Netlix single-camera comedy Santa Clarita Diet, as written by Better Off Ted alum Victor Fresco.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, the 2017 comedy sees Olyphant and Barrymore as married couple Joel and Sheila, realtors leading “vaguely discontented lives in the Los Angeles suburb of Santa Clarita — until Sheila goes through a dramatic change that sends both of their lives down a road of death and destruction … but in a good way.”

Episode counts have yet to be determined, though Netflix says:

The genius casting of Timothy and Drew combined with Victor’s unique comedic sensibility will delight, and definitely surprise, our members around the world.

Olyphant has certainly played a hand in comedy since Justified’s end, between appearances on The Mindy Project and FOX’s The Grinder, while Barrymore too has made TV appearances, previously only in guest.

2017 is a long way off, but what should we make of Santa Clarita Diet?
