Emergency crews are currently on the scene of a plane crash north of Belgrade.

The Central Valley Fire District received a call about a small aircraft that had crashed north of Belgrade at 1:48 p.m. on Thursday afternoon. The crash was reported near Theisen Ranch Road.

Crews arrived on the scene at 2:06 p.m. and found the pilot walking around near the crash site. The pilot was reportedly practicing landing maneuvers on his property when he accidentally clipped a fence while flying close to the ground. There was also a passenger in the plane. No injuries have been reported.

The investigation has been turned over to the Gallatin County Sheriff's Office. As of right now, the cause of the plane crash is still unknown. This is a developing story and more information will be added as it becomes available.
