In terms of cultural significance, there are three major film festivals: the first is the Cannes Film Festival, the second is Sundance, and the third is, you guessed it, CatVideoFest!

If you're not familiar with CatVideoFest... it's exactly what it sounds like. It's 70 straight minutes of nonstop cat videos, whittled down to the best of the best from hours of submissions. And it's happening at The Roxy in July! Here's what they say about it on their website:

"CatVideoFest is a compilation reel of the latest and best cat videos culled from countless hours of unique submissions and sourced animations, music videos, and, of course, classic internet powerhouses. CatVideoFest is a joyous communal experience, only available in theaters, and raises money for cats in need through partnerships with local cat charities, animal welfare organizations, and shelters to best serve cats in the area.

Proceeds from this event will go to the Humane Society of Western Montana. Kittens will be available to be adopt in our lobby!!"

Think you'll be checking it out? CatVideoFest goes down for multiple showtimes on Wednesday, July 24th. You can get tickets right here.
