Keep your feeders filled with that clear sugar water, because the hummingbirds are still buzzin' around the Bitterroot Valley before they head south for the winter. Photographer Mike Daniels captured some images last week as the little speed demons were taking advantage of the blooming flowers in western Montana.

We have been lucky in the Bitterroot to have plenty of the hummers every year - and quite a few species visit our area, too. So, while you're looking up at the large feathered friends like the osprey and eagles, take some time looking at the flowers and your neighbors' feeding stations to see the little guys, too - like the little guy in the photo below.
