Blacktail Mountain Ski Area Opens This Weekend

Local skiers will want to take note of this: Blacktail Mountain Ski Area is set to open for the season this Saturday, December 22nd.

There's been enough recent snowfall and colder temperatures where they've been able to get things ready for business this weekend. Blacktail Mountain doesn't make any snow on their own - they're relying on the real thing.

Normally the resort is open Wednesday through Sunday, but they'll be operating on a holiday schedule for the next couple of weeks. Blacktail Mountain will be running daily from December 22nd through January 6th.
