The summer sun has got everyone outside enjoying the summer vibes. With all the backyard barbecues and get togethers, more and more people are playing lawn games. Sure there is bocce ball and volleyball, but the game of cornhole has been sweeping the nation. The popularity of tossing a bean bag into a small wooden hole has become more and more popular over the last two decades. For someone who has never seen a cornhole game, it almost looks like a group of people are training to win a giant stuffed bear at a carnival. But, the game of cornhole takes some serious skill. It has even grown so large that it has it's very own professional competitive league.

According to Wikipedia

Cornhole (also known regionally as bagssack toss, or bean bag toss) is a lawn game in which players take turns throwing 16 ounce bags of corn kernels at a raised platform (board) with a hole in the far end. A bag in the hole scores 3 points, while one on the board scores 1 point. Play continues until a team or player reaches or exceeds the score of 21 by means of cancellation scoring.

You got a few weeks to train for an upcoming tournament right here in western Montana. It may not be a part of the American Cornhole League, but it is going to have a huge payout. And it is all happening at the Backyard Tap House in Florence, MT on August 28th.
