The unique bicycle tour of local farms, "Fork to Farm Tour," is Sunday, September 17, in the Bitterroot Valley. Check-in at 10 a.m. and ride starts at 10:30.

However, deadline for registration is Wednesday, September 13, at 5 p.m.

The Bike Walk Bitterroot group is sponsoring the 40-mile bicycle ride for a second year. The ride starts and ends at the Western Agriculture Research Center north of Corvallis at 580 Quast Lane.

There will be four stops on the tour where food and drink will be available, produced from local fruit and vegetable harvests and livestock. The farms will be SweetRoot Farm, Lifeline Dairy, Mill Crick Farm and Willow Mountain Winery.

At the end of the ride, the Ag Research Center will have live music, a locally sourced dinner and local cider and beer.

Registration fee is $50 and online registration can be done at bikewalkbitterroot.org.
