Is it just me or did July fly by? With so many great things always happening in Missoula it's hard to keep track of time and realize that summer is almost up, but summer isn't the only thing going up, so are the temperatures. One of the great things about living in Seeley Lake is that there are so many things to do outside.

One of my favorite, very easy hikes is Morrell Falls.

After a hike in the hot sun it's nice to relax at home on a cool summer night!

Another thing I love to do is just sit by the river or the lake and watch the sunset.

Also this week when I was enjoying downtown tonight I swam in the Clark Fork River for the first time. Then on Saturday Night I participated in the 3rd Annual Midnight Glow Float that was also on the Clark Fork River.

Another adventurous Missoula activity is riding mountain bikes. There are so many trails in and around Missoula to explore!

After a exhausting bike ride in the sun, a pleasant way to cool down is with some delicious frozen yogurt topped with fresh fruit!

Along with all the other things happening, Missoula's Celtic Festival was last weekend. There was great music and entertainment with lots of fun activities for kids like making their own bag pipes and learning how to play hurling.

When enjoying live Irish music, why not enjoy an ice cold beer (and you even get to keep the cup)!

Another great thing about living in the Missoula area is that it gives children of all ages so many experiences of outdoor activities to try!

These are just a few of my ways to enjoy summer fun and beat the heat! Summer will be over before we know it so why not enjoy it while we still can!
