There's been a bunch of bear attacks in Montana over the last week. This morning, a hunter in the Gravelly mountains was attacked by a grizzly - and that makes this the fourth attack in recent days.

The hunter is in recovery and is currently being treated in Sheridan. On the 16th, two hunters from New Mexico were attacked near Ennis, and that same day, a Washington man was attacked and hospitalized near Butte.

Is there a reason for all these grizzly attacks? Carlessness on the hunters' part, or just simply being in the wrong place at the wrong time? Anything is possible, but at least each of the hunters attacked appear to have gotten away with no major injuries.

And remember - be careful out there, especially in the mountains! You never know when you might stumble across a bear who doesn't want you around.
