I've never actually been to the Missoula Family YMCA in person. But we signed our daughter up for their soccer session last summer and had a great experience with the program. That's one of the great things about the YMCA - you can benefit from their on-site programs as well as the ones that don't involve a trip to the building on S. Russell St.

I'm guessing there's plenty of people that don't even realize the selection of programs that are offered by the Missoula YMCA. They have before school, after school, and full-day child care. They have leagues, classes, and swimming. They even offer virtual classes - perfect as we continue to navigate the COVID world.

Like so many other organizations - the Missoula Family YMCA depends on the generosity of the community to help provide assistance in continuing their services and programs. Their 2021 Annual Support Campaign will kick off tomorrow (1/20) and run through early March - with a hefty goal of raising $315,000.

According to Julie Hofbauer, the Missoula Y's development director:

“Our Y’s been committed to Missoula’s well-being for more than 50 years. Last year, in the midst of so much uncertainty, our Y stepped up and supported local families through our affordable childcare efforts. This year’s fundraising campaign will help ensure that our Y is able to continue to meet the needs of families during these unpredictable times.”

Thinking about donating? Keep in mind that all donations are 100% tax deductible, and all funds stay in Missoula to support local programs and services.
