Montana's brand new KettleHouse Amphitheater is now "concert ready!" I was thrilled and honored to attend the ribbon cutting at the new venue on Monday, July 10th in Bonner.

The KettleHouse venue is exactly as I imagined it, a smaller Gorge Amphitheater, beautifully crafted to serve not only the public, but performers, an experience unlike any that Montana has ever known. The current capacity of the amphitheater is 4,000, and parking serves 1,500, so shuttles and car pooling are important, be mindful of that.

In addition, there is a permanent merch booth, full bar, concessions with food, plenty of clean toilets (if you're a concert hopper, you understand the importance of including this fact,) beautiful green rooms with a view of the Blackfoot and, of course, plenty of KettleHouse brew.

The inaugural season includes the sold out Ween show on Sunday, July 16th, Primus & Clutch on Friday, August 11th and The 2nd Annual Blaze Backyard BBQ with Slayer, Lamb of God and Behemoth on Thursday, August 17th. Congrats to the Logjam and Kettlehouse crews for pulling off such an amazing contribution to the community!
