With the boom! of a small cannon, the annual Corvallis Memorial Day parade began for its 99th year, with hundreds lining the town's Main Street to watch. The Corvallis School Marching Band played the National Anthem in front of the high school to start the procession, which included veterans from conflicts including World War II. Corvallis American Legion Post 91 again organized the parade, along with memorials at the Corvallis Cemetery and the Woodside Bitterroot River bridge.

Grand Marshal this year was Ralph Keppel, a longtime Legion member (see photo below). The parade included classic cars and farm vehicles, mounted units, motorcycle groups, political groups, and local business and organizational floats and marching groups. The parade theme celebrated the 100th year for the American Legion.
