Saturday, August 7th, at the Dark Horse patio, $10 at the door, proceeds benefit the Missoula Life Maintenance Center (AKA Joey's Place) and Western Montana LGBTQ Center. Both the Tater Tot Casserole Competition and Tater Tot Eating Contest are back, with your chance to win tickets to the Guns n' Roses show next month at Washington Grizzly Stadium! Plus, loads of ways to top your tater tots, and drink specials to wash them down. Extra massive metal appreciation to our sponsors Bloodbath Design, Hieb's Garage Doors, and Zip Beverage. Doors open at 1, bands start at 2, and it's 21+.

A little history on the event:

Back in the Before Time a random thing happened with one of the Walking Corpse Syndrome guys, we all became hungry for tater tot casserole, and Totfest was born. In the inaugural year, you raised more than $2000 for Missoula's Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) to help vulnerable local children have a voice in court.

Thanks to Sherri and Eddie Johnson of Blessiddoom, we're back this year for Totfest 2021 so bust those recipes out! Our first year winners were Maeve Carroll, whose Tater Tot Casserole won the cook off, and Brent Walker, who dominated the tater tot eating contest! Maeve had quite the story about how she made her casserole so delish, it had everything to do with locally sourced foods and day drinking, so there are a couple of hints for this year.

Here are LOADS of photos from the first Totfest, we're stoked to see all of you, it's been so long!
