Jennifer Lawrence is hot stuff. She's just come off of winning Best Actress for 'Silver Linings Playbook' and flipping off an unruly reporter at the 2013 Oscars, and she's a key player in two huge movie franchises -- 'The Hunger Games' and 'X-Men.' She's constantly on the go and therefore doesn't have time sit in a makeup chair for hours on end just so she can reprise her role of Mystique in 'X-Men: Days of Future Past.'

We joke a little. We don't honestly believe she's vain in that way (just look at every interview she's ever had, ever). But regardless of the reasoning, Mystique will be going through some changes off camera for Bryan Singer's upcoming return as 'X-Men' helmer.

To transform Jennifer Lawrence into Mystique for 'X-Men: First Class,' it took hours upon hours (upwards of seven!) of being half naked while a team of makeup artists airbrushed on her blue scaly texture. The same thing went for Rebecca Romijn in the original 'X-Men' movies, but Lawrence still had it worse as the paint used caused nasty skin irritations to develop, prompting a doctor to be called on set.

Fortunately J-Law won't have to endure this anymore for 'X-Men: Days of Future Past.' "I'm so excited because I'm going to wear a body suit," she told E! "It will be from neck down so it will cut out time and the blisters."

She also revealed that filming starts in "Mayish," though because of her insanely busy schedule, she hasn't even had a good 30 minutes to sit down and read the script. "They literally gave me the script and I was like, 'I can't read this until Monday.'" At least she got to film 'Catching Fire' in Hawaii. That's technically a vacation, right?
