Wii Dancing Fundraiser Marathon at The University Center

The University Center will be hosting its second annual Just Dance-A-Thon fundraiser on Wednesday December 5 in the UC Campus Court from 6 a.m. to midnight.

Groups are invited to come take part in the University Center’s first ever Just Dance-A-Thon.  The event is centered on the Wii Just Dance game.  Groups are responsible to dance for their entire hour.

Groups and Departments can sign up online below. There are sign up times available every hour from 6:00 am to midnight.  Availability is on a first come first serve basis.  Schedule will be updated daily. Groups need to be at least 2 people and no more than 12. All proceeds go to the University Center Holiday Giving Campaign to benefit families from University Villages during the holiday season.

Each team is asked to raise money to be donated during their hour of dancing.  Prizes to those who raise the most money include a trophy and pizza party and UC Theater movie night of your choice.  Money can be raised through sponsorships or pledges before the event or people can bring cash the day of.  A jar will be placed on the main table where all money will be collected.  A leader board will follow the fundraising process throughout the day. Cash will be accepted at the table in the UC Campus Court on the day of the event. Other fun prizes, raffles, and giveaways will also be available throughout the day.
