Why Are We So Obsessed With Snow?

Snow. You either love it or you hate it. Growing up in southern California we didn't much snow unless we drove two hours to Mammoth! So every time it snows here in Missoula I get a rush of excitement!

But I have a lot of friends who did grow up with snow and they love it just as much as me! Here's why:

1. Watching snow fall from thick white clouds is beautiful! #Nature
2. Everything looks better with a nice layer of fluffy white snow on top!
3. If you grew up with snow, you're often reminded of prior snow days, making snow angels and snowmen, sledding with your friends and family, snowboarding, skiing etc.
4. If you're like me and you didn't grow up with snow and a white Christmas or two, you just think snow is cool (literally and figuratively)!
5. There are a lot of holidays during the snowy seasons
   1. Thanksgiving (sometimes)
   2. Christmas
   3. New Years Eve
   4. Valentines Day
   5. St. Patrick's Day
6. And then personally for me I love how quite it is after it snows. I love walking around and only hearing the soft crunch of my steps. I love seeing the Christmas lights perfectly reflected on the snow. I love it all!
