Which Montana Town Was Nationally Declared as ‘Most Dog-Friendly’?
According to Dog Fancy Magazine, Bozeman, MT was the #2 most 'Dog-Friendly' city in America. From the seasonal pet/owner outdoor events and easy access to walking trails for both the dog lover and their best friends, this vibrant college town deserves it's place of being honored with such a prestigious title.
The most enduring part of the declaration is that Bozeman has been cited as the town with the most reclaimed animals anywhere in the region and most of the nation. In fact 90% of shelter dogs are reclaimed in the first two weeks.
The magazine also mentions that there just might be more dogs than children. This is a town that certainly loves their canine companions. Nearly 22,000 dogs reside in Bozeman.
Bend, Oregon was named the number one most dog-friendly town.
