Although I'm still trying to figure how to break the news to my daughter with the fact that her favorite store in our mall is closing, I could not help but overhear in the office today some co-workers daydreaming about what the Learning Tree should turn into now that the major Southgate Mall toy store is closing it's doors. Kind of insensitive, considering that the news is still reeling in the hearts and minds of kids, parents and teachers. But still..

"They should totally turn it into a music store! Bring back Sam Goody!" said one of our DJ's

"A TGI Fridays!" said one of our digital team members.

"How about replace that smelly old play train with an even bigger playground?" I said. Hey, once a kid, always a kid, right?

It's really is sad to see the Learning Tree go, but also kind of exciting to consider what we could possibly do with such a great location. If you think about it, practically any business could flourish in such a prime retail space. Who knows? You might inspire the next big entrepreneur with your ideas.

This will be fun! Throw some ideas out there in the comment section below and begin brainstorming on what business might benefit from the old Learning Tree spot.
