Weekend of Tragedy – America’s Real Life “Final Destination”

You've probably seen at least one of the "Final Destination" movies over the years, now imagine just one of those horribly tragic scenes happening for real. That's what came to mind after hearing about these three devastating stories over the weekend.It all started Saturday in St. Louis after the Cardinals won their game against the Bears. Fans were celebrating at Kilroy's Sports Bar when winds at 70 miles-per-hour blew down a beer tent, just before 4pm, killing one man and injuring 17 others.

The second of the three tragic events happened after a 37-foot racing yacht crashed into a larger ship. Three sailors were killed and a fourth was still missing yesterday.

Then, finally, the worst yet. Around 12:30 pm yesterday, a minivan apparently blew a tire, fell off an overpass and into the Bronx Zoo. The crash killed seven people, all from a single Bronx family, including three children.
