One of the hottest days in recent history for the fair. I’m sure lots of people will be cooling in the Beer Garden to some great music. Missoula’s Shane Clouse will do a couple of shows today at 5:30 and 9:00. Thursday evening’s performances will feature the Montana-based Cold Hard Cash, an outstanding Johnny Cash tribute act.

The “Country Fair” area is a ton of fun for kids with the petting zoo, pony rides and kids tractor pulls.

Speaking of kids, Thursday is Kids Day with free admission until 6:00 p.m.

And even though it’s five bucks, how often do you get to ride a camel? :-)   You’ll find the camel rides near the Russell Street entrance gate.  200-poound weight limit. Don’t know about height.  I didn’t see a ”You Must Be This Tall To Be On This Camel” sign.

It’s another evening of Pro Bull Riding in the arena starting at 7:00. Tickets range from $12.00 to $15.00.

Admission prices range from $3.00 for kids age 5-12, $4.00 for seniors (55+) and $6.00 for adults. Active duty military get in free with ID.

As far as parking, if you don’t want to walk too far, it looks like $5.00 is the norm for the churches and other organizations with the prime locations real close. Then it drops to $4.00 and $3.00 as get a bit further away.

Here’s to another great day at the fair!  DB
