Watch Time Lapse Video of the Roaring Lion Fire in the Bitterroot

The Roaring Lion Canyon fire erupted on Sunday, July 31st just south of Hamilton and a time lapse video captured the start of it.

We've been bringing you updates on the fire, but to actually see it is not only interesting, but also sad and scary. It really shows you what the residents and firefighters are battling there.

Air battle and three hotshot crews are on the fire, which is estimated at about 2,000 acres as of Monday, August 1st.
