The bells tolled 21 times in Hamilton Sunday, November 11, at 11 a.m. as part of the national "Bells of Peace. But the Veteran's Day ceremonies are not over. Those bells included the school bell at the Ravalli County Museum. And even though government offices are closed today in observance of Sunday's special day, the Ravalli County Museum will be open to continue their observance.

Monday at 2 p.m. Post 47 and Auxiliary, the Marine Corps League and others will have a wreath-laying ceremony and 21-gun salute at the World War One doughboy statue, followed by a program upstairs in the museum about World War II POWs who were kept in Western Montana and helped work the sugar beet fields. The public is encouraged to attend.
