Trick or Treating at the Southgate Mall

The current forecast for Halloween Monday in Missoula is a 60% chance of rain with a high of 51 and sundown at 6:20 p.m. With all of the time and effort you are putting into your kids' costumes, the Southgate Mall may be a good option to avoid bundling up and getting rained on.

Here's this year's schedule for the Mall's 'Halloween For Hospice.' All proceeds from the carnival games and costume contest will go to benefit the Hospice Care Foundation of Western Montana.

• Carnival games, 4:30 to 7 p.m., $1 per game or $15 for a wristband.
• Costume Contest, 4:30 to 7 p.m. in the JC Penney court, $2 individual entree fee, $5 per family.
• Trick or Treating, 6 to 9 p.m.
• "Thriller" performance by On Center Performing Arts in the JC Penney Court at 7 p.m.
