Top of the Mic Finale at Sean Kelly’s [EVENT]

Entertainment Management at The University of Montana (UMEM) and Sean Kelly’s have had a blast these past two months with Top of the Mic! The turnouts have been fantastic and the performers have been grand. Over 100 musical artists competed for an opportunity to perform in the Top of the Mic Finals. Finals are on Saturday, May 5th starting at 9:00PM at 130 W Pine St in Missoula. Even if you haven’t been to the previous nights, you will still want to make it out to cheer for friends and help choose Missoula’s most talented musical artist.

The bands have been performing every Thursday since March 1st, with semi-finals on four Saturdays in between them, the last semi-final on Saturday, April 28th. The bands who have made it through the semi-finals will perform on Saturday, May 5th to battle it out for the top three positions. The three winners will all receive cash prizes, 1st Place winning $1,000.00, 2nd $300, and 3rd $200.

Finalists competing for the Top of the Mic grand prize are: Baby & Bukowski, Best Westerns, The Chalfonts, The Hasslers, Joshua Farmer Band, John Floridis, The M.I.P, Off In The Woods, Three-Eared Dog, and The Trees.

So make sure to come down, grab a drink and support these local artists. Also, don’t forget to grab a Sean Kelly’s Top of the Mic t-shirt while you’re there! The t-shirt was designed locally and has a list of all the performers from Top of the Mic on the back. Each shirt is $10.00 each.
