The Missoula County Sheriff's Office reports that three adults are currently in custody following an investigation to animals being shot with blow darts in Lolo.

Detectives submitted their investigation to the Missoula County Attorney's office, however, with the pending charges, no names can be released. All three adult suspects are from the Lolo area.

20 darts were turned in to animal control, seven pets are known to have been shot and many pets turned up missing when the incidents began in early October. A reward of up to $1,100 was offered for information that might lead to arrests in the case.

More details and charges are expected to be released after the New Year's holiday.
