Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Loki (Tom Hiddleston) have had a tumultuous relationship. After attempting to destroy his brother and claim the throne of Asgard in 'Thor,' the trickster god unleashed an alien army on New York City in 'The Avengers' and was taken back home in chains for it. But in 'Thor 2,' our title hero will have to put all this aside to defeat a dark new threat.

Fandango premiered the first 'Thor 2' clip, which features one of Loki's most recognized lines from the trailers, "You must be truly desperate to come to me for help." And, truly, Thor is. In 'Thor 2,' the Nine Realms align, allowing the Dark Elf Malekith (Christopher Eccleston) to return and plunge the universe into darkness. To defeat him, the god of thunder needs his brother's help, but will he be able to trust him?

Short answer: no! After all Loki has done, Thor is ready to lay him out if he's betrayed again. However, Hiddleston has stated that both brothers have the same goal in mind, though they have different ways of going about it.

In addition to Hemsworth and Hiddleston, 'Thor 2' features the return of Natalie Portman, Jaimie Alexander, Anthony Hopkins, Stellan Skarsgard, Kat Dennings, Idris Elba, Rene Russo, Ray Stevenson and Tadanobu Asano, with newcomers like Christopher Eccleston, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and Zachary Levi. 'Thor 2' is directed by Alan Taylor and is set for release on November 8.
