On May 9, the University of Montana entered into an agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division to address problems regarding sexual harassment and sexual assault. Since that time, a group called the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE) has criticized the agreement, calling it a threat to free speech on campus.

The Department of Justice finally revealed what it found during its more than year-long sexual assault investigation into The University of Montana.

It's an issue that Missoulians have been dealing with for almost two years now, sexual assault.

THE VERDICT The jury of seven women and five men took just a few hours to decide that Jordan Johnson was not guilty of sexually assaulting a fellow University of Montana student on the night of Feb. 4, 2012 as the two watched a movie at her house.

Jordan Johnson continued the testimony he began Tuesday in Missoula Dstrict Court today, Feb. 27, telling his side of the story regarding a relationship, and subsequent sexual encounter, he had with a fellow University of Montana student who said he raped her Feb. 4, 2012.

Update: Friday morning, Feb. 22, the video from Jordan Johnson's first interview with the Missoula Police Department was reviewed further from where it was left off Thursday afternoon in Missoula District Court.

On Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2013 the Jordan Johnson rape trial wrapped up with testimony from Drew Colling, a licensed clinical counselor at the Student Assault Resource Center on the campus of The University of Montana.

Brian O'Day took the stand first in this morning, Feb. 15, as a witness in the sexual assault trail for suspended University of Montana quarterback Jordan Johnson and discussed talking with the alleged victim the night in question, as well as over the days that followed.

During pretrial proceedings the defense tried to keep Dr. David Lisak from the prosecution's witness list.

As defense attorney David Paoli wrapped up questioning of the alleged victim in the Jordan Johnson sexual assault trial Wednesday morning, Feb. 14 in Missoula County District Court many things came to light in regards to her relationships and behaviors with friends and family following the incident.
