My boys love these muffins, but I have to admit that they usually con me into throwing some chocolate chips into the batter. I have not always loved hummus. I actually used to hate it. However, it has grown on me, and I now love it on veggies, crackers and chips. It is rich and creamy with a pinch of salt, and even a bit tart. I think the reason that I learned to love hummus was because I fell in love with garbanzo beans.
