An armed intoxicated man surrendered to authorities without incident late Tuesday afternoon after being holed up inside a house in the Canyon Creek neighborhood west of Missoula.
A homeless man reported to Missoula police that he was sexually assaulted in downtown Missoula by an unidentified man early Wednesday morning, September 10.

Missoula police are investigating a reported sexual assault that allegedly occurred in a residence in the Wapikiya area on Missoula south side early Sunday morning.
Time Magazine recently announced that the University of Montana will be showcased in a spread for an article entitled "The Sexual Assault Crisis on American Campuses."
