Legendary NASCAR driver Buddy Baker passed away early this morning at his home in Charlotte. Over his 34-year career, Baker won 19 races most notably the 1980 Daytona 500 for which his average speed of 177.6 miles-per-hour is still the fastest Daytona 500 ever run.

NASCAR driver Greg Biffle will salute Red Cross blood donors during the May 19th NASCAR All-Star Race. Biffle drives the #16 Ford Fusion car and will sport a new paint job highlighting thirty-three blood donors who will be listed on the car.
