Game of Thrones showrunners seemed finally to have gotten their wish that UFC fighter Conor McGregor would put in a cameo appearance, and we may yet have more proof. Not only are UFC heads confirming the part, but we also know that McGregor’s role left him speechless.

Game of Thrones has long had its own line of beers for fans to celebrate with, and it seems crazier than a Mad King to be without an official wine. No longer, as a Santa Rosa winery will bring us three different varieties for every generation of Lannister to poison themselves with, some more quickly than others.

Between the epic run of Game of Thrones and the impressive first season of Westworld, odds are good that you’re currently rocking an annual subscription to HBO or HBOGo. Few networks are still in the business of appointment television, but with social media sites like Twitter exploding into a flurry of spoilers after each new episode of both shows, fans are finding that their only real options are to watch on time or to not watch at all. In fact, we can sometimes get so caught up in the flurry of long-form television that we forget that HBO has some pretty darn good movies, too.

HBO has its hands full with big-ticket dramas in one stage or another, but certainly fans of the UK-adapted The Night Of are curious to see if the series merits another season. To wit, HBO bosses say Season 2 is still in active development, with the aim to return star John Turturro in a leading role.

Four episodes down the rabbit hole of HBO’s Westworld, and the theories are still flying in every direction. William and the Man in Black are one person, Bernard’s a robot, Megan Draper wargs into Sharon Tate, and so on, and so forth. Star Jimmi Simpson is continually downplaying theories about his character, however, as well that his story will end in any way like the 1973 film.

Game of Thrones Season 6 still managed to keep a number of secrets under wraps, even as fans eagerly picked apart every set photo, and Season 7 may be no different. Certain members of a certain family have now been photographed in close proximity, which may or may not suggest a major reunion in Season 7.

It shouldn’t surprise anyone that Westworld represents a significant investment for HBO, especially after a string of high-profile, low-yield projects. We don’t yet have an official greenlight for Season 2, but producers are already getting their ducks in a row to flesh out Westworld’s future.

In case it wasn’t clear by the $100 million investment, or ubiquitous promotion around every corner, HBO is banking on Westworld becoming a major hit in the vein of Game of Thrones. The promotional push certainly doesn’t end with the premiere, either, as you can experience the show’s hospitality for yourself with a new AI chatbot, and even catch the premiere free of charge.

There isn’t much more HBO’s Westworld needs to do to sell us on its October 2 premiere, but gosh darn it, bless ‘em for trying. Not only does the adapted series have a trippy new poster, but also two new promos and its very own New York Comic-Con panel backing it up.

Another reported leak places Winds of Winter with an early 2017 release, at least beating Season 7 to the punch.
