Whenever Game of Thrones finally gets around to a full Season 6 trailer, fans will undoubtedly agonize over the continued secrecy of Jon Snow’s fate, and HBO isn’t likely to oblige until at least April 24. In the meantime, have a bunch of posters of everyone’s faces, dead or alive! They seem to be enjoying themselves.

No doubt Game of Thrones has shaped the manner in which political rivalries play out their bitter ends in the media, that the harshest of podium insults scarcely raise an eyebrow anymore. Well, with Game of Thrones and Donald Trump both on everyone’s minds, it’s no surprise the Orange King fits right in with the world of Westeros.

Game of Thrones opened up the Season 6 floodgates with the release of not one, but two new photo galleries, and Sunday will bring even more good news. The first official teaser for Game of Thrones Season 6 will arrive Sunday just before HBO’s Vinyl, while the House of Black and White has already summoned a first look.

The penultimate year of HBO’s Girls is nearly upon us, and Season 5 isn’t wasting any time diving Marnie-first into the awkward. Our first full synopsis for the season puts a wedding off the bat, with plenty of friction between Adam and Hannah’s new boyfriend, also unveiling guest stars and a budding new combination.

So February is almost upon us, and that means it’s time to make Valentine’s Day plans. Because I’ve got a newborn baby at home (and because I’ve always been cheap and lazy), this year I’ll probably sit at home and watch movies with my wife. What could possibly be more romantic than Joe Manganiello grinding a gas station soda machine? (I’m drawing a blank, but that might be because I keep getting distracted by Manganiello’s abs.)

Just a few short hours ago, HBO gave Game of Thrones fans reason to celebrate by confirming Season 6’s April premiere, but the party may not be over just yet. Sources say that HBO will soon renew Game of Thrones for both Seasons 7 and 8, potentially to close out the series.

Once upon a time, Game of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin would casually dismiss notions that HBO’s fantasy smash could ever catch up to his novels. Now, with Season 5 burning to debut on April 12, and two books remaining in Martin’s series, Game of Thrones producers confirm the show will inevitably overtake, and spoil at least some material for readers.

After years of complaining from people who didn’t have or couldn’t afford cable (or whose parents refused to give them their HBO Go password), HBO is finally delivering a standalone streaming service, HBO Now. Today, the company announced some of its availability details, including pricing and when and where it will be available.

What do we want? A standalone HBO streaming service! When do we want it? Now! And that’s what makes the name of HBO’s highly anticipated and long-promised standalone service so appropriate. HBO Now is officially on its way, and the company has revealed new details, including a very reasonable subscription price. But those of you with cable who already pay for an HBO subscription may find that switching over would be a tad useless.

HBO takes the stage at the ongoing TCA press tour in Pasadena, and the premiere announcements ride with it.
