The “Battle of the Bastards” may be behind us, but Ser Davos’ fighting days are far from over when Game of Thrones Season 7 premieres. Some new photos see actor Liam Cunningham undergoing some bareknuckle (bare finger stump?) training from UFC fighter Conor McGregor’s coach John Kavanagh, just as The Mountain before him.

Brian Michael Bendis Dishes on Cinemax Adapting Marvel’s ‘Scarlet’
Jessica Jones creator Brian Michael Bendis apparently jumped the gun to reveal that Cinemax had an eye toward adapting Marvel Icon imprint Scarlet (especially given he claimed HBO at the time). That said, with the cat out of the bag, the revered comic artist teases that Scarlet would very-likely follow some of her reality-bending roots into the live-action adaptation.

Is ‘Game of Thrones’ Really Still Keeping Jon Snow’s Father Secret?
Moreso than ever, Game of Thrones Season 6 seemed to pay off years of fanservice and speculation, particularly the finale reveal of what appeared to be Jon Snow’s origin. Well, half of it anyway. How Religion Was the Most Powerful Character on ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 6
Any ‘Game of Thrones’ fan knows religion is a major facet of the series. We’ve heard characters named drop the Old Gods and the New time and time again. We’ve seen the weirwood trees. We’ve watched Melisandre stare into the flames seeking signs from her Red God. But in Season 6 the gods played their most prominent role in the show’s narrative yet.

Now that all the dust, fire, blood and snow has settled on Game of Thrones Season 6, it’s a comfort to look back on the crazier theories that never came to pass. No, Lady Stoneheart won’t be joining the series, and Bran won’t be whispering sweet-nothings to the Mad King just yet, but above all else, we can finally let go of that dumb “Sansa is pregnant” theory. So says Sophie Turner herself!

You may have heard of a small indie program on one of the smaller networks, HBO’s Game of Thrones. People talk about it. In any case, this program appears to have aired a Season 6 finale recently, for which the ratings apparently reached an all-time high. You may commence removing your jaws from the floor, and/or cease howling in confusion.

Game of Thrones left us with quite a few upsets by Season 6 finale “The Winds of Winter,” though certain reappearances more than ever exacerbated running questions of how quickly characters traverse the map. Now, writer-producer Bryan Cogman offers a frank answer to said riddle, one which sadly never ends with Arya’s best rendition of “I’m On A Boat.”

THAT ‘Game of Thrones’ Star Asked to Be Let Go Earlier Than the Finale
And lo, Game of Thrones has come to yet another end with last night’s “The Winds of Winter,” an explosive climax with a higher body count than usual, thanks to Cersei’s fiery wiles. One death certainly hit harder than all the rest, though apparently the series-long star had asked for an even earlier end to their character.
