Who recalls the time when most people would gripe about their teenagers always wanting to sleep? Now, in today's age, we've learned that something is way more important than crashing for a nap.

A new study reveals that most 18-year-old girls spend more time TEXTING than SLEEPING.

All of the girls in the study went to college. And they usually spent at least half their day, an average of 12 hours, texting, surfing the web, using Facebook and Twitter...which we suppose is the same as 'texting'. Either way, it's still quite a bit more time than getting some shut eye.

The study did not reveal men's preferences.
