Stranger Things would not prove near so successful without its core cast of wide-eyed youths, whose continued adorableness outside the show will surely extend to Season 2. Case in point, watch the young adventurers’ glee at their own Season 2 Super Bowl spot, as we start the long countdown to Halloween.

Already taking a more active role in Stranger Things 2, star Noah Schnapp (Will Byers) posted a video of he, Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin) and Finn Wolfhard (Mike) observing the Eggo commercial Season 2 teaser debut, which aired shortly after Lady Gaga’s halftime show. Unfortunately, neither Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas) nor Millie Bobby Brown (we think you can guess) were around to record their own excitement.

Perhaps also worth noting, Wolfhard seems visibly excited by the Halloween premiere announcement, which might well be news to the cast. The first season debuted in July of 2016, while even well-intentioned speculation placed a possible premiere only as late as September.

In any case, it remains to be seen when Stranger Things Season 2 will debut any new footage or details (October 31 is an awfully long time to wait), but stay tuned for the latest details in the meantime. You can check out the full Season 2 teaser below as well.
