Word this week is that the popular Stargate movie and television franchise may undergo a reboot.

Which leads us into our Yes or BS question: Did the Stargate television series film an episode in Montana?

The answer is...

Yes, kind of....

According to Stargate Wiki:

Montana is a state in the northern United States of America. Sometime before 2000 a few members of Martin's people abandoned their starship after their homeworld was lost to the Goa'uld. Their escape pod crash landed in the middle of the Montana countryside, where the occupants would spend the next few years attempting to blend in with the Tau'ri, except for Martin Lloyd, who enlisted the help of SG-1, as he believed, correctly that he was an alien from another planet. (SG1: "Point of No Return") After Major Samantha Carter was captured by the Replicator Fifth, he made her experience a life in a farm in Montana with Pete Shanahan(SG1: "New Order, Part 2")

Interesting! But the truth is, the crew filmed the scenes of "Montana" in a backlot at Universal Studios in Hollywood.
