18 year-old Stephen Roy Goodman, the son of Dawnette Eaton, who stands accused of backing over Missoula police officer Deni Poling, appeared in justice court on Thursday.

Goodman is accused of allowing his mother to hide out in his apartment on January 8th after she allegedly backed over officer Poling in an attempt to escape arrest on a parole violation. Eaton is in the Missoula County Jail on $250,000 bail.

A friend of Eaton, Kimberly Inman, allegedly picked up Eaton after she was shot by Missoula police lieutenant Richard Stepper when she refused to stop her vehicle after running over officer Poling. Inman has been charged with tampering with or fabricating evidence and is also in jail on $75,000 bail.

During Goodman's justice court appearance, Missoula County Attorney Fred Van Valkenburg requested bail bet continued at $50,000. Judge John Odlin agreed.

More individuals are expected to be charged in connection with this incident.

Officer Poling is still in St. Patrick Hospital, and faces a long recovery after being seriously injured.
